Biomethane, at the heart of climate issues

Biomethane plays a key role in achieving carbon neutrality set by by 2050. According to ADEME, the acceleration of these projects is essential to progress on the decarbonization objectives set for 2035.

« Sharing good practices and mobilizing committed stakeholders are essential to achieving territorial decarbonization objectives. », underlines David Marchal, Executive Director of Expertise and Programs at ADEME.

Collective mobilization for sustainable territories

By supporting local stakeholders and sharing pragmatic solutions, this collective aims to become a major lever for the energy transition.

« This initiative will make it possible to advance concrete solutions for the production and consumption of renewable gas for the benefit not only of its members but also of all local stakeholders involved. » underlined Rançois-Xavier Olivieri, secretary general of GRDF.

A key player in gas, GRDF is convinced of the economic and ecological advantages of NGV (Natural Vehicle Gas) and in particular of its 100% renewable version, bioNGV.
