[Article mis à jour jeudi 21 novembre à 11h. Keolis indique que les tests effectués sur les véhicules ont été concluants. Les bus vont pouvoir désormais ressortir progressivement ligne par ligne.]
If you were planning to use the Stan network buses this Thursday morning, you will have to find another solution.
Due to a radio problemthe circulation of a large number of lines was stopped in Nancy and its surrounding area and the buses had to return to the depot.
We take stock of the situation and the reason for this problem.
Buses stopped for safety reasons
On X, at 9:30 a.m., the Stan network informed its users that a radio incident in progress “ prevents vehicles from traveling safely“. So, all vehicles return to the depot except those on the following lines which are not impacted: A, 11, 13, 14, 22, 30 to 33, City cars.
Contacted by Lorraine News, Keolis hopes for a gradual resumption of traffic from the end of the morning, but this remains uncertain: “ If the buses can run again, we will bring it out line by line by prioritizing the Tempo lines« .
To be informed, users can go to the application, the X account and the Stan network website.
A change in the audio system causing the breakdown
This general failure concerns the sound system which allows drivers to contact the Stan network control station (PC) at any time in the event of a problem: aggression, discomfort of a passenger, etc.
Keolis explains that “during the night of Wednesday November 20 to Thursday November 21, a maintenance operation took place on the GPS and voice system »: “Some buses have switched to a new version. Everything went well except that at 7 a.m., some drivers were no longer able to reach the PC. We tried to do tests then for safety reasons, the decision was made to bring the vehicles in. »
