A macabre discovery was made this Wednesday in Basècles, in the entity of Beloeil. An elderly couple was found dead in their home located on rue des Déportés.
According to the first information we were able to gather, the woman required constant care and had been bedridden for some time. As for her husband, he had not been seen in the village for several weeks. A local resident says she noticed that her car has been parked for some time in the parking lot of the sports hall located very close to their home.
Some residents also pointed out that the house appeared not to have been maintained for a while now.
Ambulances, firefighters and police blocked access to the street for several hours. A forensic doctor was also dispatched to the scene to try to clarify the circumstances of the tragedy.
