Here it all begins in advance: Alice Wiesberg in Teyssier’s sights
Hortense and Stanislas take their work as coaches to heart: they do not want Alice to be destabilized by Teyssier, who must attend her next class. If Alice is not anxious, her friends manage to communicate their stress to her. They try to disrupt her so that she remains stoic. “You have to play it casual,” Stanislas finally told him. Alice then turns to Gaspard to find out how to appear relaxed. She does not want to be disturbed by Teyssier who, according to her, risks firing her if he discovers that she is on the autistic spectrum. The young man does not have the same opinion but Alice does not want to take that risk.
When the time comes, Teyssier silently attends Alice's class. If at the beginning, she takes it upon herself when the students do not scrupulously respect the recipe, she ends up losing her temper when it is too much for her. Quite irritated, she asks the students to completely start their preparation again. After this rant, Teyssier, who saw what he wanted to see, leaves. Before leaving, he asks Alice to come see him after class. When she finds the director, Alice does not lead much but remains equal to herself. However, she did not expect Teyssier to congratulate her: “You and I are the same. Stay as you are, it’s perfect.”
Here it all begins in advance: Teyssier reconsiders his decision
Anaïs blames herself and tries to contact Milan, without success. Léo and Vic tell him that he confessed to having stolen the crate of great wines which disappeared. When she finally finds Milan, Anaïs asks her for explanations. He explains that he denounced himself because he did not want Teyssier to attack her and cancel the tasting. “He would never have done that. Teyssier, I know him, he bluffs all the time,” assures Anaïs. If Milan blames himself for having been fooled, he does not regret his decision. He wants Anaïs to continue despite her suspension and her upcoming disciplinary council.
While passing Teyssier's office, Anaïs hears him tell Antoine that he wants to file a complaint against Milan. The chef then arrives in the room reassembled like a clock and explains that she broke the wine bottles and asked Milan to cover her. Teyssier accepts that Milan resumes her position but warns her: he will come by in the afternoon to see what they have prepared, “it better be square”, he told him.
Here it all begins in advance: Anaïs makes a bad decision
In the kitchen, Anaïs has difficulty hiding her pain to the point of not being able to prepare her dessert. She offers to guide Milan. Milan accepts but forces him to put his headphones back on. Teyssier arrives at this moment and asks to taste the entire menu. The director is surprised that Anaïs listens to classical music while cooking but the young woman escapes by a pirouette. Later, Teyssier explains to Constance that he is satisfied with Anaïs' work. Despite this, his wife who knows him by heart understands that something is bothering him. “Normally it's a war machine but right now it's [Anaïs] is completely to the west.” When he mentions the fact that she cooks with headphones on, Constance thinks back to her conversation with Milan.
For his part, Milan insists that Anaïs comes home but the chef wants to review some details for her tasting the next day and promises not to delay. Once alone in the kitchen, she is terribly embarrassed by her pain. While looking for her helmet in her bag, she finds the sachet that Sam had given her and takes a tablet…
