As during the last break, Abner and Nicolas Tagliafico will be the last internationals to return to OL. The two full-backs started Tuesday evening with Brazil and Argentina.
By playing Saturday evening (9 p.m.) at Reimsl’OL will not have much time to prepare for this trip with the entire group. There should only be one session with the entire workforce for Pierre Sage and again. As in October, Abner and Nicholas Tagliafico will be the last to return to France and will above all have to recharge their batteries between long trips and jet lag. Recovery will therefore be at the heart of the program for the two full-backs in order to be ready for the 12th day of Ligue 1. In October, Tagliafico was also left to rest for the trip to Le Havre for the Europa League match. Will Pierre Sage follow the same process with a move to Karabaghnext Thursday?
180 minutes to Tagliafico
While waiting for the Lyon coach's position on the issue, the two full-backs started Tuesday evening with their respective selections. For his fourth selection with the Brazil, Abner started again, even if he didn't play the entire game this time. Indeed, the Seleçao held in check by theUruguay (1-1), the Lyonnais left his place in the 58th minute of play, watching from the bench the equalizer of Gerson four minutes later. For his part, Nicolas Tagliafico continued again with 90 minutes of play in Argentina's victory against Peru (1-0). A success which allows the Albiceleste to retain its leadership position in these South American qualifications for the 2026 World Cup.
