A major fire took place in an apartment building in Nicolet. 30 firefighters were mobilized to fight the blaze.
According to the director of communications for the City of Nicolet, Sébastien Turgeon, in an interview on the show Always in the morningthe fire broke out during the night around 3 a.m. in a four-unit building on Saint-Jean-Baptiste Street, near Maison Saint-Joseph.
The general alert sounded among the firefighters. A total of 30 firefighters, all from Nicolet, were mobilized to fight the fire.
Two tenants of the building were transported to hospital because they were affected by the smoke.

Many firefighters were deployed to put out the fire which broke out during the night.
