Olympic and Paralympic Day takes place every year on June 23. A day organized to promote Olympic values throughout the world based on the three pillars: move, learn and discover
With this year, a topical theme “let’s prepare to support the French team”, a theme which was also presented on the square and inside the Athyrium, throughout the day with many participants and a few rays of sunshine! A beautiful day which allowed everyone to learn fencing, yoga with Onet en forme, archery with the sports retreat, boxing and MMA on the 1st floor and pétanque, basketball , handball, tennis, table tennis, disabled sports with blind football and adapted sport with laser rifle shooting on the square, without forgetting the goose game of the CDO, organizer of the day, the wall climbing and the selfie-box, which allowed all participants to leave with a free photo in the company of the two games mascots!
30 days before the Paris Olympics, a great day to meet around your values, play, learn and talk about sport whether in leisure or competition and for the youngest, to collect their passport attesting to their participation in 6 different sports. A day which ended, after a group muscle strengthening class from Onet en forme, with speeches from Didier Pierre for the municipality and Evelyne Douls, the president of the CDOS.
