It was 1:40 a.m. Tuesday November 19, 2024when a house located on rue Grande, in the town of Coudres, south of Saint-André-de-l'Eure, caught fire. The roof of the small house with one floor caught fire during the night, we learn from the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS 27) of Eure.

An injured firefighter

The firefighters managed to put out the fire using three spearsincluding one on a ladder. THE four occupants housing, a 52-year-old man, a 50-year-old woman, a 65-year-old woman and a three-year-old child, all unharmed, were rehoused with the family. Thirty-two firefighters were mobilized.


Around 6:20 a.m., clearing operations were still in progress.

According to our colleagues at a firefighter, slightly injured during the intervention, was taken to Évreux hospital.
