Tradition would then like the former first lady to return with her husband to the White House. But according to the “Melania-ologists”, this may not be the case.
Speaking to Axios, several First Lady experts predicted this week that Melania would not make the White House her home base during a potential second term for her spouse. The most likely scenario, they estimate, would be that she continues “traveling between Palm Beach (where she has spent the last four years) and New York (where tongues wag over Baron maybe at NYU), coming to the White House only for ceremonies like state dinners or special events.
