Terrible road accident Tuesday June 25, 2024 has La Trinité-Surzur (Morbihan), town near Vannes. One person lost their life.

A car moves to the left

The departmental fire and rescue service (SDIS) is notified of a “high kinetic” road accident shortly after 9 a.m. on departmental road 765. Two passenger vehicles collide in a head-on collision. Three victims are to be deplored.

According to the first elements collected by the gendarmerie, one of the two cars shifted to the left lane.

The axis was cut off for several hours for emergency services to intervene and carry out investigations. Road traffic was able to resume shortly after 1 p.m. An investigation is underway.

Three victims in the accident

Unfortunately, one person did not survive this accident. “He is a resident of Lauzach, born in 1953,” indicates an officer from the Vannes Gendarmerie Company.

His 25-year-old passenger also lives in Lauzach. The third person, in the other vehicle, is a 46-year-old man, living in Trinité-Surzur.

The two injured were transported in “absolute emergency” to the Vannes hospital and to Nantes via the Dragon 56 helicopter.
