Julian Assange released. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has reached a plea deal with US courts under which he will be freed after years of detention in the United Kingdom, according to court documents made public on the night of Monday to Tuesday June 25 .

Prosecuted for having exposed hundreds of thousands of confidential documents relating to American military and diplomatic activities, particularly in Iraq and Afghanistan, Julian Assange must appear Wednesday June 26 at 9 a.m. local time before a federal court in the Mariana Islands, American Pacific Territory.

Closure of the Coco site. The Paris prosecutor’s office announces the closure of the controversial dating site Coco.gg, this Tuesday, June 25, 2024, on its X account. The platform, at the heart of several ambush cases, particularly homophobic, had been regularly denounced for several months by users, some of whom are minors.

Trial in Nîmes. Nine defendants have been on trial since Monday before the Gard Assize Court for a murder and an attempted murder committed on January 25, 2021 at Mas de Mingue.
