Christian from Denmark, happy bachelor ready to “see the world”

Crown Prince Christian of Denmark celebrated his high school graduation on June 24, 2024, surrounded by his parents, Frederik class. A day that the young man will remember for a long time, ready to leave the world of childhood behind him.

He’s finally graduated! What immense joy for Christian from Denmark who does not hide his happiness, this June 24, while he finds all his classmates at the Ordrup Gymnasium. Wearing the traditional studenterhue, the cap reserved for Danish high school graduates, the young man, aged 18, enjoys his success under the proud gaze of his two parents, King Frederik X and Queen Mary. His brother, Prince Vincent, and his two sisters, Princesses Isabella and Josephine, would not have missed this event for anything in the world.

The day promises to be unforgettable but before properly celebrating his diploma, Christian, alongside his family, takes a few minutes to pose in front of the photographers. In front of the journalists’ microphone, the future sovereign announced that he was “very happy and satisfied”. Has he thought about his future? What does he want to do at the start of the school year? His response is evasive, but the crown prince explains that he wants to “go and see the world, have new experiences and prepare myself for other things” reports Billed Bladet. “We still have to sort out the last details, the future looks exciting,” adds his mother, Queen Mary, who looks tenderly at her eldest son.

Does Prince Christian intend to begin military training upon his return from this sabbatical year? Nothing is certain at the moment but this is a tradition for the men of the family.

Warmly congratulated by his family, Christian takes a few minutes to join his friends and chat with those to whom he is particularly close. On the royal palace’s Instagram account, at the same time, the Court shared a series of photos taken inside the high school in which the crown prince hugs his parents and exults with joy!

It’s already time to go home. Queen Mary places a hand on her son’s back while King Frederik takes Josephine in his arms. Everyone will enjoy the summer vacation together, before letting Christian fly away, no doubt with a heavy heart. But today, the Danes will keep the image of a family united and ready to start a new chapter.
