A fire broke out yesterday evening, shortly before 9:30 p.m., at 1st floor of the former Puget-Théniers slaughterhouseslocated at 44 avenue Alexandre Bottin. The rapid intervention of the firefighters made it possible to limit the damage and prevent the fire from spreading to the entire building.
An effective intervention
Mobilizing 12 machines et 29 firefightersthe operation made it possible to quickly contain the fire. Thanks to their effectiveness, the damage was limited to an area of approximately 50 m². Crews then continued their efforts to extinguish the remaining hot spots throughout the night, ensuring the safety of the scene.
