Biathlon: Eric Perrot and Fabien Claude get their winter off to a good start, Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen too
After the boss's double mistake Johannes Thingnes Boe (8/10) on his standing shot from the sprint Norwegian Opening Sjusjøen Biathlon Races (Norway), it was thought that Peiserot Eric Perrot (10/10) was heading towards an ideal start to the season on the third step of the podium in the middle of the stars of the kingdom of which he is a national.
Only, at the very end of the race, Vebjoern Soerum (9/10), who is playing for a place in the World Cup this weekend, completed an exceptional final round of cross-country skiing. Bleeding and in great shape, he took more than 30 seconds from the leader Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen (10/10) to move up five places and, thus, place second, 2 seconds 4 behind his elder, big winner of the day.
Johannes Thingnes Boe only tenth, Quentin Fillon-Maillet in difficulty
Martin Uldal (10/10), third at 7 sec 7, also made a strong impression. It is therefore in fourth position, at 7 sec 9, or 2 small tenths of the podium, we find Eric Perrot.
Fabien Claude (9/10), fifth at 16 sec 9 and seventh time on skis, also had a great first race this season since he probably would have won without his fault.
It is Isak Frey (10/10) who ranks sixth ahead of the Italian Thomas Giacomel (9/10) as well as his compatriots Sturla Holm Lægreid (10/10), Change Stroemsheim (9/10) et Johannes Thingnes Boe (8/10), last member of the top 10. As for the other French people, Emilien Jacquelin (8/10) is twelfth, Oscar Lombardot (9/10) sixteenth and Quentin Fillon-Maillet (5/10), in distress on the shooting range, forty-ninth.
Among the other Norwegians, we find in particular Sivert Guttorm Bakken (10/10) in thirteenth place, Johan-Olav Botn (7/10) to the seventeenth, Tarjei Boe (8/10) to the nineteenth, Martin Nevland (7/10) to the twenty-second or Johannes Dale-Skjevdal (9/10) in the twenty-fourth.
