The famous American RnB group will be the subject of a biopic which will retrace their 30-year career marked by the success of the hits “End of the Road” ou “On Bended Knee”.
Boyz II Men will have the right to a biopic. According to the American media Varietythis feature film will retrace the 30-year career of the famous RnB group to whom we owe the hits End of the Road or On Bended Knee.
This project will be produced by Denis O’Sullivan, Jeff Kalligheri, Larry Mestel, Joe Mulvihill and Jeremy M. Rosen. Boyz II Men members – Shawn Stockman, Nathan Morris and Wanya Morris – will also serve as executive producers alongside Ori Allon, Dennis Casali and Steven Garcia.
“We have been waiting to find the right partners who understand our story and are willing to tell it,” Nathan Morris said in a statement.
Originally composed of four members
Formed in 1985, Boyz II Men achieved success in the 1990s thanks to their songs Motownphilly, It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday, End of the Road or I’ll Make Love to You.
Hailing from Philadelphia, the RnB group has won four Grammy Awards during their career. Boyz II Men originally consisted of four members, but Michael McCary left the group in 2003 due to health issues. Their latest album Under the Streetlight was released in 2017.
