Back in her hometown, Tatiana Silva had a big disappointment while she was walking around Brussels. A mishap that she recounted in her Instagram story and which, fortunately, found a positive outcome thanks to the response of one of her subscribers.

Currently in Brussels, Tatiana Silva shared the disappointment she felt while walking around her hometown. Used to going to a fritkot located at Place de la Chapelle, the weather presenter had the unpleasant surprise of seeing that her favorite food truck had disappeared. The one who announced that she was pregnant with her first child at the age of 39 told an Instagram story: “I hope you are well (…) Yesterday I took a trip to Brussels which is still the city of my heart, it is the city of my birth where I spent most of my life until present, and I wanted to talk about fries…“.

Admitting that the “French fry culture” is very present in Belgium, the former candidate of Dancing with the stars explain : “At home, it is fresh and cooked in small double cooking trailers. The oils were changed gradually. Now we use little oil of animal origin, it's more vegetable-based, it depends a little on the trailers“. After a short explanation, Tatiana Silva finally gets to the point: “But still the fact remains there is a caravan that I love in Brussels which is on Place de la Chapelle, this caravan has for the moment been dislodged. I don't know what happened, but it's to my great despair because there aren't many of them in Brussels and each one has its own specificity. And if one day you go to Brussels, you should know that all the caravans have their own way of making their fries, their oils, their things, their potatoes.“.

Tatiana Silva reassured by a subscriber

A little disappointed with the fritkot she went to and which doesn't make fries as good as the one at Place de la Chapelle, she finally received good news from one of her subscribers. His favorite fritkot is simply being renovated. “JI wanted to provide the rest of the information because some have sent me news of the Fritkot Place de la Chapelle and so it is getting a makeover, there is a decision that was taken by the Brussels region to give a little more shine to its fry trailers so that they are a little nicer, hoping that we don't change the recipe obviously !”.

Good news for Tatiana Silva who will very soon be able to find her favorite fritkot again.
