The prefect dared to say that the RPPRAC had not requested an audience even though it has been demanding (wrongly in my opinion) an interview with the Minister of Colonies Buffet for weeks.
The latter also said that he was ready to meet everyone but that he wanted respect. In short, he only met people who agreed with him.
On the respect side, Bouvier has already shown that he even refused to greet the RPPRAC delegation.
We have the arrogance of the colonist who does not want to discuss with the “little nigger” if he is rebellious!
BEKES DO NOT FORM A RACE
The day after the first major demonstration in Paris, the same Bouvier published a press release in which he promised criminal proceedings against people who had made remarks against a category of people because of their race.
In his document, he does not pronounce the word “béké” but everyone understood.
Bouvier is a proud defender of the caste.
Historically, settlers have always accused Martinicans of color of being racist and of resenting their white skin.
In 1822, following a slave revolt, the governor formed a Royal Court which sentenced to death (with immediate execution) around twenty rebels.
To explain these legal assassinations, the magistrates will accuse the slaves of being racist and wanting to attack whites: “ the well-proven goal of slaughtering the whites and making themselves masters of the country ».
Saying that your dog has rabies to justify killing it is classic on the part of oppressors.
Accusing the Martinicans of being racist is therefore not a major novelty on the part of Mr. Bouvier.
The hypocritical call in the same press release to live in harmony is no longer new. In 1848, the government and its supporters proposed that Negroes emerging from slavery “merge” with other races.
Ensure harmony to ensure the domination of the wealthy.
We have known the result since 1848. The rich are even more cheaters and the others must accept domination.
Here again Bouvier did not invent anything.
This thesis that the békés are a race that must be protected (as an endangered species) intensified in 2009 after the big strike of the time.
It is an association called RESPECT DOM whose headquarters is in Paris and which is chaired by a Mr. HAYOT who opened the ball by suing the general secretary of the CGTM for having written the popular slogan “Matinik Sé ta nou, matinik Sé pa ta yo, an band béké pwofitè et volè, nou ké fouté yo déwo!” on the grounds that it was a racist and discriminatory slogan.
Reynal's little media béké covered the same song.
Recently, the same association RESPECT DOM prosecuted for the same reasons of racism and discrimination a writer, a journalist, two singers, all Martinicans of color!
All this was in vain because the courts said that the békés did not constitute a breed protected by law.
And it is historical, sociological and legal evidence but Bouvier never stops wandering!
No more than the aristocrats of France in 1789 were a race, the béké caste is not. Singing “Ah it will be fine, it will be fine, the aristos with the lantern” was the expression of a just fight against privileges and inequalities.
Mr. Bouvier cannot understand this because in 1789, one might think that he would have been a noble émigré fighting against the revolution.
So to criticize, to fight, to criticize the béké caste for their past, their present, their fortune, their selfishness, possibly their crimes and misdemeanors, is not racist, contrary to what this prefect claims.
They are the békés and other settlers who are obsessed with race. Look again at the declarations of Father Hayot from the sixties or that of Huygues-Despointes in the 2009 broadcast on Canal Plus and we can clearly see that they are the ones who claim the purity of the race to be safeguarded. And the fact is that these few hundred men and women have crossed the centuries by remaining among themselves, marrying among themselves to preserve themselves and their power!
It’s a fact and we still live it today!
Bouvier behaves like a cowboy to us but above all he takes us for Indians!
