42km- The peloton did not return to the quartet but only Gladys Verhulst Wild and Margaux Vigié (Visma | Lease a Bike Women). And so we have two FDJ-Suez in this group of six…
43km- The FDJ-Suez relaunches in the climb of the PIgeonnière (500m at 6%)! And the peloton is in the process of connecting with the counter quartet… And Rayer (DSM-Firmenich PostNL) is left behind after having tried and worked hard.
44km- 18” ahead for Brunel on the counter quartet and 49” on the peloton.
45km- We take turns well in the counter quartet, even if Marion Borras obviously does not pass with the presence of her teammate Brunel at the head of the race.
45.5km- We are on the slope of the valley (800m at 8%) and Brunel is in the spotlight but we continue to lose time…
46km- It can be seen a little in the counter group and Brunel widens the gap… 25” now ahead of the quartet and 52” on the peloton.
48km – RACE UPDATE :

49km- ONLY 3 LAPS TO GO TO THE FINISH ! 18” ahead for Brunel on the counter quartet and 45” on a peloton which is looking at each other.
50km – It’s moving again! The big teams are launching into a counterattack and we have a girl from Arkéa-B&B Hotels, one from FDJ-Suez, a Cofidis and a new competitor from St-Michel-Mavic-Auber 93. Be careful…
51km- The FDJ-Suez is riding at the head of the peoton with the Cofidis of title holder Victoire Berteau and that is stretching this peloton.
52km- 10” ahead for Brunel over a peloton controlled mainly by FDJ-Suez.
53km– It’s over for Sylvia Le Gleut, taken back by the peloton. And it counters immediately with the attack of Marion Brunel (St-Michel-Mavic-Auber 93)!
54km- There must be around sixty girls left in the peloton alone…
55km– More than 10” ahead for Le Gleut on a peloton shaken by the girls of St-Michel-Mavic-Auber93 in the Côte des Biards (700m at 6%)….
56km- The attacks are incessant…
57km- Rayer (DSM-Firmenich PostNL) is at it again! We really seem to want to get tougher on the DSM-Firmenich PostNL side, even though there are only two of us…
58km – 16” ahead for Le Gleut over a peloton which was fragmented following Rayer’s attack.
59km- ATTACK IN THE PLATOON !! Eglantine Rayer (DSM-Firmenich PostNL) goes on the offensive in the climb of the Pigeonnière (500m at 6%) and takes a few meters in the company of four other girls.
60km- ONLY 60 KILOMETERS TO GO TO THE FINISH!
61km- 16” ahead for Le Gleut (Lanester) on a peloton which continues to lose units.
61.5 km- Off we go for the valley coast, an 800m climb at 8%. And the peloton slowed down after fighting to get into position.
62km- The girls left Saint-Martin-de-Landelles and headed towards the first climb of the circuit, the Côte de la Vallée. And Noémie Abgrall is taken back…
64km- ONLY 4 LAPS MORE ! And 5” ahead for Le Gleut over Abgrall and 26” over the peloton.
65km- Problem for Maurène Tregouët! The Arkéa-B&B Hotels Femmes runner has a problem with her shoe and will have to change it.
66km- ATTACK IN THE PLATOON !! As we approach another crossing of the finish line, Sylvia Le Gleut (Lanester Women Morbihan) goes on the attack! She is chased by Noémie Abgrall (Winspace Women Cycling Team).
68km- This very nervous circuit regularly causes damage with several falls since the start of the day. But things are calming down a little in the peloton.
69 km- The peloton has already lost a lot of competitors even though we are not yet halfway through the race. But the circuit does damage.
71km – There is no more escape… Marie Meerpoel (UVCA Troyes), Alphanie Midelet (N1 Chambéry Cyclisme Compétition), and Amélie Ratignier Ingelaere (Team ELLES-Groupama-Pays de la Loire) have been taken back.
73km – The peloton explodes in the climb of the course’s bumps and a group of around ten girls has taken a little lead. But the two CERATIZIT competitors, Laura Asencio and Cédrine Kerbaol, are making the effort to plug the hole.
75km – RACE UPDATE : Three girls escaped at the front of the race and still have a small minute lead. But the peloton picks up the pace while we are in the first laps of the circuit.
