It was in front of a large assembly that the annual public meeting organized by the municipality of Benet took place, in the Grande-Halle room, where Camille , mayor of the town, did not fail to point out that “Benet is a dynamic municipality both on a social, sporting and cultural level, as well as in terms of projects in favor of the environment”.

Dynamic too, thanks to its strong associative fabric and the great diversity of offers from artisans and traders.

During this meeting, elected officials presented the projects already completed, those in progress and those to come: the development of the third place (La Boutique and La Fabrique); inclusive housing (work will begin for the development and construction of common areas).

Energy renovation: efforts continue

Efforts on the energy renovation of buildings are continuing: after the exterior thermal insulation of the Champs-du- school, work is beginning on the Lesson emergency housing and at the Fabrique housing level. The development of the Place du Champ-de-Foire is underway, as well as the study on the greening of schoolyards. This is thanks to public aid (State, Department, Region, Sydev, etc.) which can represent up to 80% of the project cost.

Cultural and sporting life, social actions and the road program were presented. There was also talk of citizen participation and the preservation of biodiversity. Cédric Liano, cultural and digital mediator of the City, also highlighted the actions carried out by Micro-Folie, which includes the Digital Museum installed at Transfo and the Fab'Lab. Time for rich and constructive discussions was offered between each party.
