On November 14, 2024, a man was charged with the murder of his ex-wife in Spain. The victim disappeared in February in Madrid, and reportedly received a visit from her ex-husband, who came from the United States, a few hours before.
The case has never been so close to its conclusion. A Florida businessman was indicted on Thursday for the murder of his ex-wife in Spain, the news agency reports AP.
Last February, Ana Hedao Knezevich, 40, disappeared in Madrid, where she had been living for a few weeks. His body has not been found since.

David Knezevich, 36, was charged with “kidnapping leading to death”, of “domestic violence resulting in death abroad” and of “murder abroad of an American national” by a federal grand jury in Florida.
Already last June, he was heard and pleaded not guilty to the kidnapping of his wife. He has since been in detention. Again, his lawyer told the news agency, he plans to plead his innocence.
“There is no evidence that David Knezevich kidnapped or murdered his wife”she defends.
Suspicious visit
The videos recovered by the Spanish authorities work against the businessman. The day the forty-year-old disappeared, a man wearing a motorcycle helmet had sprayed cameras in his building with a spray paint.
Subsequent footage showed a man exiting the building with a suitcase. If it is not certified that it is David Knezevich, strong suspicions weigh on him.
