During the LFP board of directors meeting organized this Friday morning, LFP media, the League’s commercial company, presented its business plan for the 100% Ligue 1 channel project over five years. According to information from The Team, the LFP would like to achieve a net turnover of 578 million euros per season.

This Friday morning, during the LFP board of directors, the commercial company LFP Media presented all the details of the business plan imagined for its channel over the next five seasons (2024-2029). As a reminder, no broadcaster has reached an agreement with the LFP. In return, Vincent Labrune found the solution so that he could limit the damage, but this should not please consumers. A new 100% Ligue 1 antenna should see the light of day.

You will have to pay 30 euros to watch Ligue 1

According to the indiscretions of The Team, subscribers of this 100% L1 channel will have to pay 30 euros per month. The price is higher than the old TV Médiapro channel (2020-2021) which was 25 euros. Despite the exorbitant price, the LFP plans to attract more than 2 million subscribers in the first year. A forecast which rises to 3.37 million subscribers for the 2028/2029 season. A number of subscribers expected to bring it more than 518 million euros in TV revenue in the first year. Still according to the same colleague, Vincent Labrune plans to collect 15 million euros per season thanks to the sale of his subscription to public establishments (bars, hotels, restaurants) and 10 million euros in advertising revenue. The leaders of the LFP hope to achieve a net turnover of around 578 million euros per year.
