The Les P’tits loups crèche was decked out in the colors of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Monday June 17. That day, Sophie Couty, director of multi-reception and head of the early childhood center, the fourteen educators and the 40 children aged 1 to 3 wore a t-shirt flocked with the Olympic insignia. Makeups of flags from different countries were also carried out by the educators.

At 9:30 a.m., an opening ceremony for the Games took place and the Olympic flame, made for the occasion and carried by the children, paraded. This moment took place in music.

Around ten sports workshops were then set up, each under the supervision of a professional. The children were thus able to learn about desynchronized swimming with diving in the ball pool, climbing (motor course), basketball (throwing cuddly toys), porter racing, the somersault-yoga competition, throwing with a target drawn on the window, cycling (bicycle racing) and horse riding (show jumping with stick horses).

The objective of this day was to introduce children to different sports and allow them to gain self-confidence and be comfortable with their bodies.

At the end of the morning, Pascal Huguet, president of the Beauce Val de Loire community of communes (CCBVL), which includes the Les P’tits loups multi-reception facility, gave a small gift to each child.
