During the Paris 2024 Olympic Games (July 26 to August 11), the French volleyball teams, as well as certain members of the Olympic and Paralympic delegations from Great Britain, will train in the brand new Camille sports and cultural center -Muffat of Clichy-la-Garenne. This architectural gem designed by architect Rudy Ricciotti was inaugurated last Friday.

“A few weeks before the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, Clichy is more than ever in the starting blocks, and an entire city is preparing to take part in this great sports festival.” A celebration that will be more beautiful again – and not only for Rémi Muzeau, the mayor of Clichy-la-Garenne, if the Blues of the French volleyball team manage to retain their title won three years ago in Tokyo. doubled, Earvin Ngapeth and her teammates, like their counterparts on the French women’s team, will be able to count on magnificent facilities.

The French volleyball players, reigning Olympic champions, have indeed chosen to train throughout the Olympic tournament of the Paris 2024 Games (July 26 to August 11) on the brand new floor of an arena which is just as new. And for good reason: the sumptuous Camille-Muffat sports and cultural center in Clichy-la-Garenne, in Hauts-de-Seine (92) has just been built. This new facility, an architectural marvel born from the imagination of renowned architect Rudy Ricciotti, was inaugurated last Friday in the presence of elected officials, including the city’s mayor Rémi Muzeau, partners and project stakeholders.

The Camille-Muffat centre, where members of the British Olympic and Paralympic delegations will also train before and during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, perfectly meets the city’s expectations of being able to host national-level sporting events in many disciplines as well as concerts and cultural shows. The complex is also fully accessible to people with disabilities. This has earned it the “Accessibility Label, AAA level” certification. Rémi Muzeau hopes that the arrival of the two French volleyball teams during the Olympic Games will be the start of a very long and beautiful story for this hall, which is part of the preparation centres for the Paris 2024 Games.
