myCANAL: an ongoing incident prevents access to the application on PC, Android and iOS

This Wednesday, November 13, the myCANAL application is inaccessible for many on PC, smartphone and tablet. An incident is underway at the encrypted channel.

A technical incident is in progress at CANAL+ at this very moment, preventing access to the myCANAL application. If the encrypted channel first mentioned Android and iOS, the incident would be broader.

Many media affected

If you can’t access CANAL+ this Wednesday, November 13, you are not alone. In fact, the channel has warned of an incident currently being investigated by its teams and hopes for a recovery as soon as possible.

Android and iOS apps were quickly identified with this problem but it is much broader than that. In fact, on social networks customers also complain about problems with the web browser from a PC, on Xbox, Samsung Smart as well as on Apple TV and Android TV.

The outage currently affecting myCANAL therefore seems very significant in view of the media affected. However, it seems that not everyone is in the same boat since the application works for certain customers.

At the moment, we do not know the exact fault affecting the CANAL+ application or whether it depends on the operators.

Edit: the incident only lasted 30 minutes. Everything is now resolved on the CANAL+ side
