As the mass distribution landscape in France has been profoundly reshaped with the passage of Casino hypermarkets and supermarkets under the Intermarché, Carrefour and Auchan brands, the Casino group's hypermarkets and supermarkets have been removed from the price index. Monoprix and Bi1 – which had a high price positioning – were also removed from the index.
