Referendum 2024: Sosthène Nguema Nguema aims for an overwhelming “yes” victory in Woleu-Ntem | Gabonmediatime.com

A few days before the constitutional referendum, the Provincial Coordinator of Woleu-Ntem, Sosthène Nguema Nguema, is intensifying his local campaign to raise awareness among populations about the “yes” vote. Optimistic and convinced, he hopes for a score of 98% in favor of the new Constitution, which he considers a major step forward for Gabon.

During various political talks across the departments of the province – Haut-Komo, Haut-Ntem, Ntem, Okano and Woleu – Sosthène Nguema Nguema expressed his gratitude to the residents for their mobilization. “ I thank the people of Woleu-Ntem who decided to make this province the territory of Yes. Each voter must do two things: mobilize on voting day, and the vote must necessarily be Yes. We expect results of 98% “, he said.

Sosthène Nguema Nguema for an overwhelming yes

As a Transition deputy, Sosthène Nguema Nguema enjoys strong popular support in the region. His objective is to make Woleu-Ntem a bastion of “Yes” by uniting voters around a project that he presents as inclusive and bringing a more stable and democratic future.

Addressing the populations in his mother tongue, Fang, he emphasizes the importance of this Constitution, developed from a national dialogue and validated by a constituent assembly. “ Yes to the referendum for an inclusive constitution that leaves neither young people, nor women, nor people living with disabilities at the side of the road “, he said, calling for massive participation in the vote on November 16.

Through this campaign, Sosthène Nguema Nguema hopes to convince the Woleu-Ntemois to support a Constitution which he presents as the culmination of the will of the Gabonese people for solid institutions and a strengthened democracy.
