Day full of discoveries for schoolchildren

Day full of discoveries for schoolchildren

Friday June 14, nursery and primary school students participated throughout the day in numerous sporting and cultural activities that were a little different from usual.

Organized and set up by the parents’ association Ré-création, in collaboration with the entire team of teachers, this day allowed the children to discover numerous workshops, scattered throughout the two outdoor spaces of the school. They were in turn able to learn, in the sporting field, break dancing with professor Émilie, an activity which is included for the first time in the Paris Olympic Games. They also discovered, with the very active members of the Wildrunn association of Saint-Geniès-des-Mourgues, an acrobatic and artistic discipline called parkour, consisting of overcoming all kinds of obstacles. Several renowned athletes from this spectacular discipline were present to the delight of the children. Other workshops were offered such as graffiti, an escape game, reading with Michèle Reydon, sophrology with Christine Daucy. Many wooden skill games were also available.

This day undoubtedly left its mark on the minds of all the students who warmly thanked all the speakers as well as the active members present of the Ré-Création association. Now it’s time for the school celebration, organized as every year by the parents’ association, which will take place on Friday June 28 at the Espace Mistral.
