While the subject of anti-Semitism in France was being discussed in the National Assembly, two days before the match under high security between France and Israel, the rebellious deputy Sébastien Delogu addressed the former Minister of Solidarity and Families Aurore Bergé insulting him as a “big piece of trash”.
The atmosphere became tense this Tuesday in the National Assembly. The former Minister of Solidarity and Families, Aurore Bergé, now MP for Yvelines, spoke on the issue of anti-Semitism in France, two days before the high-security football match between France and Israel at the Stade de France. His speech was marked by the heckling of elected officials from La France insoumise.
Aurore Bergé accuses LFI of “placing targets behind the backs” of French people of Jewish faith
“You continue to place targets behind their backs (to French people of Jewish faith, editor’s note). Know that we are more numerous and more determined than you to help the Republic win and to fight against anti-Semitism,” launched Aurore Bergé to the applause of the majority deputies.
It was then that the Insoumis Sébastien Delogu insulted the elected representative of Yvelines by addressing her informally, and calling her a “big piece of trash”, before being taken up by the vice-president of the National Assembly, Naïma Moutchou, then to the perch.
