After Méliès, the Fontestorgues cave, the old station, booklets published in previous years, the members of the extra-municipal heritage commission of Lavelanet, invite us to discover a new part of our heritage through the booklet “ Lavelanet, heritage walk: A traveling town hall… dream, discover, share “.
During the Country and Mill Heritage Days, Saturday June 22, the commission will take you to discover the different places where the town hall has been located over time. A story that goes back in time, beginning under the Ancien Régime, continuing under the French Revolution… A story of old Lavelanet, of life then.
This booklet is the result of research in municipal and departmental archives, writing, meetings with residents, etc. The public can obtain it at the town hall, at the Casino, and at the Sports and Associations – Maison des Projets department.
The program for June 22: 5:00 p.m.: Inauguration of the booklet in the City Hall park. 5:15 p.m.: Immersion in the 1960s – 1970s with different paintings and sketches by the Raconte-moi Lavelanet and l’Embarque associations. 6:15 p.m.: Concert by the group “Tyler and the Crew”. 7:00 p.m.: Friendship drink.
