After the frustrating draw in Nice, Bruno Genesio was stripped of a large part of his squad. In fact, no less than twelve players left to join their national team. Tour d’horizon.
Bouaddi with the Hopes, Knight with the A’s!
Besides Lucas Chevalier, who will have the pleasure of discovering the French team, 11 other LOSC players are currently in the selection. This particularly concerns executives like Angel Gomes (England), Edon Zhegrova (Kosovo), Aissa Mandi (Algeria) or even Gabriel Gudmundsson (Suede). Everyone will be involved in matches with more or less high stakes, ranging from matches counting for the League of Nations to qualifiers for the next African Cup of Nations.
As always, Jonathan David will be the last to play, with a match on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, next week, against Suriname in the quarter-finals of the Nations League. Among the young shoots, we find Soriba Diaoune and Ramsès Imbondo in the French U18 team, Lisandru Olmeta with the U20s and Ayyoub Bouaddisummoned for the very first time with the Espoirs. While Belgium is interested in him, Ngal’ayel Mukau has chosen to honor the summons of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
