Ordiarp: six lots to build at a moderate price for first-time buyers

In Ordiarp, we knew Khalbegi 1. Now…

In Ordiarp, we knew Khalbegi 1. Now, we will have Khalbegi 2 since the municipality has decided to extend the subdivision towards the departmental road.

“It’s a site which belonged to the municipality and which was marked for a company a few years ago,” explains Jean-Michel Arrayet, the mayor of the municipality. It had since become a wasteland with regrown trees. So we decided to highlight it. »

“The idea is not to achieve a financial blow but to establish new residents”

Concretely, the municipality has developed the land which will be able to accommodate six building lots. Lots of a respectable size since they will be on average 1,200 square meters. “This is what the administration asked us to respect the natural appearance of the site and not make it too dense,” specifies Jean-Michel Arrayet. And to be sure not to miss the boat, the municipality called on Maia Agor from the Lilika firm who carried out a landscape study before the development of Khalbegi 2.

For future owners, the bride is rather beautiful: a wooded site facing south, serviced and equipped with optical fiber with a very attractive price: 30 euros per square meter. “The idea is not to achieve a financial blow but to establish new residents,” underlines Claire Orabe, deputy mayor. This is to strengthen our school, which is doing well, but also the associative fabric which has around twenty structures. So, even if nothing is closed, we will favor first-time buyers and refuse second homes. »

Slate not obligatory

The message has gotten through since two lots have been purchased by young people from the village and a house has already been built with its typical slate roof with a steep slope. “We are not going to impose slate on everyone because we know that budgets are tight here, but black tile could be used instead,” explains Claire Orabe. We will also not ask for things that are out of the ordinary in Soule, architecturally. »

Once the houses are built in Khalbegi 2, the municipality will not have completely finished its project. She is considering the green development of the space between the housing estate and the departmental road below and the creation of a pedestrian path towards Khalbegi.

In the meantime, the municipality is ready to welcome future buyers and show them the site. They can also contact the town hall directly on 05 59 28 07 63.
