The Take Me Festivalit’s a mine of good heritage tips to discover in Seine et Marne of June 28 to July 14, 2024. For three weekends, an artistic and cultural program is on the program to discover the unusual and little-known heritage gems of the Ile-de-France department. And this, free for everyone! And the festival launches the festivities at the Château de Blandy-les-Tours with its new sound and light show.
Entirely free, the Emmenez-moi Festival is an event open to everyone and particularly families. Many activities are suitable for people with disabilities: inclusive shows inviting music, voice and sign language, blind football workshop or even conferences in the presence of Paralympic athletes.
The launch of the Emmenez-moi festival takes place during the inaugural evening of the new show “The Lights of Blandy” June 28 at Blandy Castle in Blandy-les-Tours. The castle grounds host monumental projections, live shows, light and music for our greatest pleasure.
For this occasion, the castle welcomes you free of charge on Friday June 28, 2024on reservation only on the castle site. From 8:30 p.m., you can freely explore its rooms and secrets. At 10:45 p.m., in the sumptuous setting of the inner courtyard of the medieval castle, the show The Lights of Blandy, invites us to relive its greatest hours. This sound and light show will take us into a large fresco projected on the walls of the monument.
For this fourth year, The Lights of Blandy take us to the heart of the history of the castle. We discover The legacy of the Viscounts, a new scenario projected on the facade of the castle. Between intrigues, conspiracy and parties, experience Blandy’s story as if you were there.
In the sumptuous setting of the interior courtyard of the medieval castle of Blandy, the show invites us to relive its greatest glories. This sound and light show takes us into a large fresco on Blandy Castle. This show is an epic journey through significant events in the history of Blandy Castle and its owners, highlighted by the History of France. It starts right Middle Agesjust before the construction of the beginnings of the castle and continues in a hectic crossing of more than 800 years of history. Battles, political intrigues, medieval life, love stories, this crazy epic slows down shortly before the French Revolution to gently approach the end of our history, when the castle was acquired by the town of Blandy in the 19th century.
