Clothes and accessories that belonged to Princess Diana will be auctioned this Thursday in Los Angeles.

Two designer dresses, estimated between $200,000 and $400,000, are part of this event sale.

Last December, one of her outfits sold for a record $1.14 million.

Tragic icon, Lady Di continues to fascinate, 27 years after her death in a car accident in Paris. During an exceptional auction organized this Thursday in Beverly Hills by Julien’s Auctions, his fans will be able to treat themselves to a vast collection of his clothes and accessories. Among them, two dresses each estimated between 200,000 and 400,000 dollars.

The first is a midnight blue tulle ballgown, designed by Murray Arbeid, which Diana wore in 1986 to the London premiere of the musical The Phantom of the Opera

She was very thoughtful about the pieces and designers she wore. She is both the people’s princess and a fashion designer’s dream.”

Shoes, handbags, hats and various objects… The collection presented Thursday in Los Angeles includes around fifty items that belonged to Diana. Fans will be able to acquire some of his handwritten letters, and also objects that belonged to other members of the royal family. Last December, an old Lady Di dress sold for a record $1.14 million at another auction.

Already in 2014, five dresses created for Diana were sold in Los Angeles for almost half a million dollars. One of them was a Zandra Rhodes evening dress in ivory silk embellished with pearls, which sold for $100,000. All these dresses had been sold for the first time by the princess herself, two months before her accidental death, to finance her efforts against anti-personnel mines.
