A brutal awakening for these few Auscitains, that night of November 10. In the Garros district, rue des Canaris, a vehicle was engulfed in flames shortly before midnight. In the small parking lot, near the future shopping center, the Gers firefighters intervened to put out the fire which had already spread to a second vehicle parked next to the first, a Renault Clio.
The other car was completely engulfed in flames. In the early morning of Monday, November 11, she was unrecognizable and the smell of burning permeated the scene.

An investigation should determine the causes of this disaster. Was it a simple electrical fault? Engine overheating or a poorly extinguished cigarette? Perhaps a malicious act? In any case, this is not the first time that this situation has arisen in the capital.

At the beginning of October and in the space of two weeks, three cars caught fire, at the SNCF station and in the Garros district. Three separate procedures were opened at the Auch police station for “destruction by a means dangerous to people”.
