“VSIt’s nothing, I love you mother!” These are the words spoken by Dylan L., 23, after the Toulon criminal court’s decision was delivered this Friday.
Four years in prison for attempting to steal, at gunpoint, a vehicle on the evening of November 7, 2023 in La Valette-du-Var.
“We went to Valletta for a bite to eat and I ordered a vehicle with driver“, relates the defendant, domiciled in La Garde.
His little brother got in the passenger side and Dylan pulled out a semi-automatic pistol. He placed it on the driver’s temple.
Nickel-plated feet
“He called me “sale muslim””noted Moussa (first name has been changed), ordered to get out of his vehicle.
Dylan got behind the wheel, while pointing his gun at the victim. The father begged for his life before trying, in desperation, to grab the arm that was holding the gun.
Dylan put the vehicle in reverse but was unable to go in the other direction. “What the hell is this car?“
The robbers also noticed that the passenger compartment was equipped with a camera before giving up on stealing the car.
A sorry defendant
Moussa rushed into his vehicle and drove away before raising the alarm.
The prints detected on the weapon – loaded with blank ammunition – left on the passenger seat made it possible to identify Dylan. This expertise showed that his brother also handled the gun.
