Accident: south of Dinan, several young people injured on the four lane this morning

Around 6 a.m. Sunday June 16, 2024, a road accident left several people injured. The only one involved, a vehicle swerved and rolled over before ending up on its roof and stopping on the RN12, near Broons (Côtes-d’Armor).

Injured between 18 and 20 years old

A big emergency device was then set up: gendarmes, firefighters with six engines, but also agents from the DIRO (West Interdepartmental Roads Directorate), who came to secure the scene.

The RN12 also had to be closed in the Rennes-Brest direction for almost 3 hours, the time of the intervention.

The Samu helicopter also traveled with a medical team to treat one of the injured, who was more seriously injured. Four other people were injured, all of the injured between 18 and 20 years old.

The young people were leaving a night establishment and allegedly took the wrong direction to return home, in the Rennes region.

The driver would have drowsy while the screenings (drug and alcohol) would have turned out to be negative.
