The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Halifax responded to a call of an accident on Highway 2 on Friday.

Police in Nova Scotia are investigating two fatal collisions that occurred Friday and Saturday.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Halifax say they responded to a call of an accident on Highway 2, which connects Halifax to Fort Lawrenceon the New Brunswick border, Friday evening.
Around 8:30 p.m., a 30-year-old man who was driving a dirt bike allegedly left the road which cost him his life. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
A few hours later, around 1:30 a.m., Cape Breton officers said they responded to a call about a single-vehicle crash on Highway 19 in the county ofInverness.
There RCMP of Inverness County said initial investigations suggest a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was heading north when it left the roadway.
Police said the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 32-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both investigations are continuing to determine the causes and circumstances surrounding these two tragic events.
