Olivier Guinchard, a farmer outside the conventional circuit, is organizing an open day at the Ferme de l’Orée des Bois on Saturday June 22, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

What is the purpose of this day?

Olivier Guinchard : “It is intended to publicize my methods and my diversified production on my family land, in decline when I decided to rework them in 2021. Since March 2024, I have obtained organic certification. »

What will the program be?

“I will offer my products for sale: beef, seasonal vegetables, apple juice, honey and derivatives (beer, sweets, etc.). Numerous workshops will take place throughout the day: basket weaving, market gardening, beekeeping and a walk to discover wild plants. Old tractors will be on display to please nostalgic fans! At 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the traditional bread oven will be lit and household bread will be up for grabs. Educational workshops for children are also planned, as well as pony rides.
