This is a welcome end-of-year boost for low-income households. Around December 15 (the exact date is not yet known) the famous Christmas bonus, implemented in 1998, will be paid.
In 2023, 2.3 million households had benefited. This concerns beneficiaries of the active solidarity income (RSA), the activity bonus, the specific solidarity allowance (ASS), the retirement equivalent allowance (AER), Pôle emploi training remuneration, or even internship remuneration.
A single bonus is paid for each household, either by the CAF and the MSA, or by France Travail. Its amount depends on the marital situation, the number of children and the organization which allows you to benefit from it.
For a single person (CAF and MSA):
- €152.45 without child
- €308.72 with a child
- €370.45 with two children
- €452.78 with three children
- €532.10 with four children
- €617.42 with five children
- then €82.32 per additional child.
For a couple (CAF and MSA):
- €228.67 without child
- €274.41 with a child
- €320.14 with two children
- €381.12 with three children
- €442.10 with four children
- €503.09 with five children
- then €60.98 per additional child.
For a single person (France Travail):
- €152.45 without child
- €205.81 with a child
- €232.49 with two children
- €248.49 with three children
- €269.84 with four children
- then €21.34 per additional child.
For a couple (France Travail):
- €152.45, single amount regardless of the number of children.
These amounts concern mainland France and Overseas Territories, excluding Mayotte where they are slightly lower.
