The Sarthe firefighters had a lot to do this Thursday, June 13 in the early evening.
Three accidents occurred at Le Mans in the space of 1 hour 15 minutes. The first involved a cyclist who fell alone on rue Théodore-Monod. Slightly injured, he was transported to the Le Mans hospital center. At 5:40 p.m., a pedestrian hit by a car was taken to hospital. The accident occurred on avenue Georges-Durand. According to our colleagues from Ouest France, it was a young girl who was knocked down and dragged for two meters
before the car stops.
On the RD92, near the circuit where the 24 Hours of Le Mans tests were taking place, emergency services were called at 6:10 p.m. for a scooter accident. Slightly injured, the victim was taken to the southern health center.
A scooter hit by a bus
It was another scooter accident which required intervention in Montval-sur-Loir at 6:18 p.m. This time, it was a bus which hit the scooter, avenue Jean-Jaurès. A person slightly injured in this collision was taken to the Le Mans hospital center, as was the motorist, again slightly injured, in an accident involving a single vehicle in Chemiré-le-Gaudin at 7:48 p.m.
Finally, in Sablé-sur-Sarthe, avenue Joël-le-Theule, a car and an agricultural machine collided shortly before 7 p.m. A person who was slightly injured in the collision was taken to Château-Gontier.
In total, 32 firefighters from ten fire stations intervened.
