GAZETA WYBORCZA. -La war rages anti-aircraft alerts sound daily. In this context, how can we still organize five concerts in the heart of kyiv, each attracting more than 10,000 spectators?

Sviatoslav VAKARTCHOUK. – The Kyiv Sports Palace is practically the only place in Ukraine capable of hosting events of this magnitude. The reason is simple: it allows rapid evacuation. The 11,000 people present, including spectators and staff working for the concert, can easily take refuge in the surrounding shelters. Indeed, there are three metro stations around the Palace, which serve as refuges in the event of an alert, as well as a large shopping center equipped with a large basement and underground parking lots. Without these infrastructures, the municipal authorities would not have authorized these concerts.
