In collaboration with the Maison de santé, as part of the Antirouille association, and the Nailloux Club, a new football section, accessible to all, was created this summer, “Foot en marche”, a version more suitable football. It is a non-contact physical practice where running is prohibited and the rules are adapted. This allows for a secure and more accessible leisure practice.

This discipline is played in a space smaller than a football field, even indoors, where two teams will compete. Sessions last approximately one hour.

Everyone can practice this discipline, it has been adapted to allow people who are physically deconditioned or who wish to continue regular physical activity. Indeed, walking football is open to everyone whether you are a child, an adult, a senior or returning to activity. Ultimately, the only obstacle to coming to participate in the sessions is yourself!

Walking football provides many benefits. For example on a physical level, because it improves your endurance during exercise and reduces your shortness of breath. It will also have social and psychological benefits by reducing stress, anxiety, improving sleep and increasing social cohesion and teamwork. This then allows you to improve and/or maintain your general state of health.

The walking football sessions which took place every Tuesday from 4 p.m. at the City stadium in Nailloux, located Chemin de Cintegabelle, will now take place on Mondays under the hall from 5 p.m., in case of bad weather.

The sessions will be provided by 2 members of the Nailloux football club, Manu Baptista and Jean-Rémy Vivés, who will welcome you with pleasure for friendly, fun and nevertheless a little sporty sessions.
