This morning, the Ferme de Côte-d'Or officially opened its doors at the Dijon Gastronomic Fair. From the opening, the public was present in large numbers, curious to discover the animals and the numerous activities offered on several stands.
Organized by the Côte-d'Or Department, in partnership with the Côte-d'Or Chamber of Agriculture and Dijon Bourgogne Events, the Côte-d'Or Farm is located at the heart of the Dijon Gastronomic Fair. This annual event is an opportunity to highlight all the local sectors that make the Côte-d'Or a true “Little Agricultural France”.
La Ferme Côte-d'Or offers a range of activities for young and old:
- Discovery of animals of different breeds, to the great joy of the youngest.
- Participation in various fun and educational workshops on various themes such as the life of bees and snails, the making of mustard and flour, or even milking cows.
“Market gardening, field crops, viticulture, blackcurrants, truffle farming, beekeeping, snails, horses, cattle, sheep… This year again, the diversity of the sectors in our territory will be in the spotlight,” specified the organizers. This first morning at the Gastronomic Fair took place under the sign of conviviality and discovery. The Côte-d'Or Farm will be officially inaugurated today (6 p.m.), in the presence of the president of the Côte-d'Or department, François Sauvadet.
