The 2nd arrondissement of the capital remains much more affordable than the 1st, with an average price for an apartment of €10,654 per m2, and €10,273 per m2 for a house. On the other hand, the average rent is similar, at €35.9 per m2, despite the supervision. The price decline that has begun is confirmed, with -6.8% on average as of November 1, 2024 over one year for apartments. This is one of the largest reductions in Paris. Bonne Nouvelle remains slightly less expensive than other neighborhoods in the district.
