Tribute day to Johnny Hallyday in Limoges

Fans of Johnny Hallyday, from here and elsewhere, organize “Johnny Always”. In the program :
– motorcycle parade with 400 bikers in Limoges (12:30 p.m.)
– opening of the village at the Exhibition Center (3:00 p.m.)
– Johnny Galaxi, Johnny imitator, performs his songs (4 p.m.)
– 70 local singers sing the idol (5:00 p.m.)
– Héloïse, a 6-year-old girl affected by cystic fibrosis, will share the stage with her singing teacher Ema Rym to perform two songs by Johnny Hallyday (6:00 p.m.)
– 4 major Johnny concerts projected on giant screens (9:00 p.m.) and fireworks

This show aims to support the fight against cystic fibrosis and to realize the dream of Héloïse, a 6-year-old girl affected by this disease.

Operabus to listen to Brassens

In several communes of Haute-Vienne

The Operabus is a traveling stage set up in a former bus from the Limoges public transport network. It offers concerts in the Limoges area and, in this case, songs by Brassens. Antoine Payen is on vocals and cello, Rémi Vermeulen on double bass. They are accompanied by musicians from the Limoges Opera Symphony Orchestra.

This festival is offered on the occasion of the poetry publishers’ fair at the Vieux Château.

Friday June 14 from 7:00 p.m.: opening orchestrated by the 1001 Notes festival and the Limougeaudes Mars-A editions. On the program: a concert “Songs of the Southern Mediterranean” with Chems and Malik Zyad and a reading of texts by the poet Marie Huot are on the program.
