The religious city of Medina Baye de Kaolack is in mourning. Seyda Ndèye Cissé, a woman of valor, educated under the protective wing of her grandfather Baye Niass, was called back to God this Saturday, June 8 in Tunis (Tunisian capital). For Cheikh Diallo, it is Senegal and even Islam that have lost one of their most illustrious daughters.

“Thanks to her early commitment, she very early mastered the Holy Quran to the great delight of her grandfather Sheikh Al Islam who awarded her the day of her recital. In addition to this, all the children she had successfully learned the Holy Book by the grace of God”recalled the religious guide of Medina Baye.

For Mr. Diallo, it could not be otherwise for someone from the eldest daughter of Baye Niass and his first caliph Seydi Alioune Cissé. The deceased was the sister of imam Cheikh Tidjane Alioune Cissé and the spokesperson for Medina Baye Cheikh Mahy Alioune Cissé.

“Today, it is Senegal which lost, so we offer our condolences to the President of the Republic Bassirou Diomaye Faye and his Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, but also to the Pastef party, one of the most committed activists of which, in this case Baye Mbaye Niass ‘Al Kaolakhi’, lost her mother,” explained Mr. Diallo.

Remember that Baye Mbaye Niass “Al Kaolakhi”, the son of the deceased, is the head of Pastef Médina Baye and also the departmental coordinator of the Movement of Patriots Domu Daraa (MODDAP).
