What attracted you to this series?
I’m a huge fan of crime stories and thrillers! When there’s a serial killer, I’m usually happy. And I really liked the role! I had played cops before, but this one had a slightly more serious and academic side, which appealed to me.
We feel your character, Inspector Fauvel, considerate with his team, in particular with Amelia (Tiphaine Daviot)…
I don’t know if he’s considerate with his whole team, maybe it’s especially with Amélia. He begins to become friends with her, and maybe even a little more. We will perhaps know that in season 2… But above all he is very invested in his work.
How would you like your character to evolve if there is a season 2?

Did you watch or read anything special to prepare Murder Club ?
No because I already know a lot about it! I really let myself be carried away, especially since I watch shows like Bring in the accused.

Eric is something all the same… He’s quite a big name, a legend all over the world! But he is very simple, authentic, generous, friendly, very funny, charismatic and imposing! I didn’t expect him to be like that, physically. I also told him that I thought he was smaller. He thought for a second and told me that maybe it was my TV that was too small (laughs)! Already, I called him Mr. Cantona at the start. One of the first things he said to me was, “You’re going to call me Eric because…
