Two men were arrested on Monday, November 4, after the death of Nicolas Dumas, a rugby player killed in front of a nightclub in Ardèche three days earlier.
Tuesday, November 5, investigators are certain that the rugby player killed in Ardèche, Nicolas Dumas, was not the target of the alleged killer. “He was in the wrong place at the wrong time,” her mother testified on RTL. Two suspects were arrested on Monday November 4. One in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), of Italian nationality, aged 19, is suspected of being the shooter. The other, arrested in Cavaillon (Vaucluse), is a 23-year-old Frenchman, known in drug trafficking cases.
During the night of Thursday October 31 to Friday 1is November, the alleged shooter left Marseille in a black sedan towards Cavaillon, where he picked up his alleged accomplice. They headed towards Saint-Péray (Ardèche). In front of the nightclub, the man opened fire on a group of partygoers. Three people were affected, including Nicolas who succumbed to his injuries.
