Football: after educators' cars were burned in Colomiers, the Ligue d'Occitanie decrees a weekend without matches for young people, November 9 and 10

There will be no youth matches across the League on November 9 and 10.

In response to the violence, the Ligue d' will leave on the sidelines. The body has in fact announced that there would be no meeting of the regional youth categories during the weekend of November 9 and 10. A measure also taken by the District of Haute-Garonne, this time for all categories.

This position comes in support of two educators from the club. On the night of October 28 to 29, the cars of a U11 coach and one of his supervisors were set on fire at the owners' home.

“Our educators are essential to the smooth running of every match and practicerecall the authorities in a press release. This decision marks a pause to allow everyone to sit down, reflect and understand that every word or gesture counts. Without respect for those who supervise and host the matches, football cannot exist. Together, let's make this weekend a moment of awareness for respectful football, for the well-being of our educators.”
