Devolver held its little annual conference and announced several games to us. New features but also surprises!
Who says Summer Game Fest, necessarily says Devolver Direct. The famous publisher also held his conference and as usual it was completely jammed. Half awkward, full of ads and totally crazy. A real show with announcements that most of us already admire.
A ton of announcements in the Devolver Direct!
We’ll spare you the totally devastating gags from the conference, we’ll let you discover it all in replay. Please note that this is not for everyone, you have been warned. In terms of game announcements, we were very well served. It started with the presentation of the new DLC for Cult of the Lamb, the roguelite tinged with management which was a hit in 2022. The game will therefore be entitled to a whole bunch of new features from August 12, on all platforms. Then a new game was announced, The Crush Housea sort of somewhat embarrassing, but hilarious reality TV simulator which will arrive on PC on August 9.
Tenjutsu was also present, a surprising mix of pixel art, roguelike and city-builder. Between two fights, spend money to improve the city around you and thus boost yourself. The excellent The Talos Principle 2 was also present to announce the imminent arrival of its first DLC which arrives on June 14. Mixture of ultra naughty FPS and Hotline Miami, Anger Football took advantage of this Devolver Direct to give us its release date! The game will arrive this summer, July 11 on PC.
A new game from the creators ofHyper Light And Solar Ash was also announced to conclude the conference, Owner(s)a very dynamic 2D game with attractive artistic direction which will arrive in 2025 on PC.
